  Olney Daily Mail, Olney, IL, Feb, 1983. Orville Benskin, 79, Clay City, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Flora Care Center. Services were held today in the Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City with Rev. Ron Linder presiding. Burial was in Kneff Cemetery. Mr. Benskin was born March 22, 1903, in Clay County, the son of Charles and Lucy (Ruger) Benskin. He married Ethel Gill Feb. 9, 1927 in Olney and she survives. He was a retired farmer. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Scammahorn; and Mrs. Carroll (Marjorie) Murbarger, both of Clay City; a brother, Don Benskin, Princeton; a sister, Hattie Travis, Clay City; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
