  Mark William McGee, 36, of Watson, IL died at 12:14 PM Sunday, July 24, 2011 at his home in Watson. He was born September 15, 1974 in Flora, IL to Leslie Len McGee and Nancy J. (Mack) McGee. Mark attended Effingham High School graduating in 1993. He served in the U.S. Air Force from August 1997 thru March 2002 in Korea later serving in Operation Enduring Freedom. He also earned an associate degree from SWIC in Belleville and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Flora where he was baptized. Mark loved spending time with friends and his pets, enjoyed movies, was a Star Wars and Star Trek fan and was also interested in trains. He is survived by his parents, Len and Nancy McGee; brother, Matthew McGee; sister, Sarah Kreke; paternal grandmother, Leota McGee; aunts, Mrs. Larry (Billie) England, Sally Neville, Kay Thompson; uncle, Frank Kemo; along with a niece, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather (John T. McGee) and maternal grandparents (William H. and Sarah E. Mack). Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, IL. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, with military honors. Memorials are suggested to the Effingham Humane Society.
