  Doris Irene Wells, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Wells, was born at Beaver City, Nebr., March 29, 1918, and departed this life February 15, 1923, aged 4 years, 10 months and 17 days. Little Doris had been ill for about six weeks, but was not seriously so but a few days previous to her death. All that medical skill and loving hands could do was of no avail. Doris was a bright and winsome child and one who will be greatly missed by her loved ones of the family circle and of the community. She leaves her father, mother, and four sisters, Mrs. Wm. T. Hess and the Misses Lucille, Florence and Dorothy Wells, together with other relatives and a host of young friends. One sister preceded her to the great beyond. Funeral services were held at the home in Spring Green Precinct, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. S. Porter, and interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
