    • Jeanie Marie Hall Obituary
Jeanie Marie Hall, 80, of Clay City, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Jeanie was born January 8, 1944 in Richland County, Illinois, the daughter of Francis Frederick "Sam" and Billie Jean (Michels) Schnepper. She was married to Gerald "Butch" Hall, and he preceded her in death on December 11, 2008.

Jeanie was best known for owning the 111 Club in Clay City for 42 years, but she was much more than just a business owner. She treated her customers and her community as family. Jeanie held benefits for people in need, hosting bike and Jeep runs, as well as hosting weddings, birthday parties, holiday parties, and family get-togethers. Jeanie enjoyed Bingo trips with her brother, Corky, and friends, going on cruises, attending auctions, working puzzles, playing cards, and mushroom hunting. Jeanie especially loved spending time with her family. She loved being a grandma and was proud of her new role as a great grandma.

Jeanie was also a member of Clay City Baptist Church.

Jeanie is survived by her daughter, Alesia (Victor Tenney) Klingler of Clay City; son, G. Bryan Hall II of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Kelsea (Damian Jeffro) Klingler of Marion, IL and Kenzea Klingler of Fort Myers, FL; great grandchildren, Reagan Jeffro and Daxton Jeffro; siblings, Micheal Schnepper and Mary Jo (Larry) Patridge; sister-in-law, Roberta Schnepper; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, William "Corky" Schnepper.

Cremation Rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held for Jeanie at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City, with a visitation beginning at 1:00 until service time at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to Clay County Hospice or Clay County Cancer Crusaders.
