  Mrs. Ruth Sager Michels, 88, 1919 8th St. Lawrenceville, died Monday, Jan 16, (1984) at 3 p.m. in Lawrence County Municipal Hospital. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, at the Emmons-Macey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Burial is at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Lawrenceville Cemetery. Ministers Robert Johnson and Robert Eldrege presiding. Mrs. Michels was born May 19, 1895 in Richland County, the daughter of John William and Emma DeVore Sager. She was united in marriage on Feb. 3, 1919 to Ernest Cecil Michels, who preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1946. Survivors include two brothers, Bert Sager, Sumner, Frank Sager, Vincennes; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Parks, Dexter, Mo., Mrs. Grace Cupp, Lawrenceville, Mrs. Lela Olsen, Cowden; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister and two brothers.
