- Glenda Jean Coulter, 56, of Rock Island, Tenn., formerly of Clay City, died at 4:55 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008, at Cooksville Regional Medical Center in Cooksville, Tenn.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Donald Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Clay City Cemetery.
Mrs. Coulter was born May 17, 1951, in Flora, the daughter of Gene and Patricia Lou (Miller) Wattles. She married Robert Coulter on July 3, 1971, and he survives.
She was a registered nurse, having worked in hospitals in California and Florida.
Mrs. Coulter is survived by her husband, Robert Coulter, of Rock Island; son, Robert Jeffrey Coulter, of Miami Beach, Fla.; son, Jared Coulter, of Engelwood, Fla.; sister, Kathy Parsons and her husband, Lance, of Odin, Ind.; brother, Greg Wattles and his wife, Rita, of Henderson, Nev.; father- and mother-in-law, Bob and Anna Mae Coulter, of Clay City; and granddaughter, Katlyn Marie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jason Eric.
