- Marvin Bahl, 66, of Ingraham, died Thursday, January 29, 2009, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
Mr. Bahl was born on November 8, 1942, in Richland County, the son of Harold Clarence and Pauline Margaret (Kuenstler) Bahl. He married Cathy Kuenstler on April 23, 1968. She survives.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a member of Olney Eagles Lodge.
Mr. Bahl is survived by his wife, Cathy; daughter, Christina Miller; sister, Gloria Frohning; sister, Marlene Schmitt; grandchildren, Nicholas and Hailey; and many very special nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Kenneth Raymond Bahl; and sister, Karen Wattles.
Visitation was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin. Services were held at the church with Rev. Father David Braun officiating.
Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery in Wendelin with full military rites performed by Clay County veterans.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or masses.
