  Robert W. Wakefield, 18-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wakefield of the Wakefield community in Denver Township, was instantly killed last Saturday afternoon when a tractor, which he had been driving backed upon him and pinned him beneath it. An inquest was held at Wakefield Saturday evening under the direction of Deputy Coroner, Oscar E. Forney, with the jury returning a verdict of accidental death. Just how the youth came to his death was not fully determined, as he was working in a field by himself with a tractor and plow. Although he was working on level ground, in some manner the tractor rolled back on him as he had dismounted and pinned him to the ground, the tractor stopping on his chest. The body was badly mangled and was discovered by the youth's father about 4 p.m.
