Karen F. Lomas, 73, of Newton, IL, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away November 12, 2024 in Newton, IL.

Karen was born on October 18, 1951, in Olney, IL to parents, Robert Lomas and Eliza Mae Lomas. She married Richard Kaschalk; he preceded her in death on November 7, 1984.

Karen was adventurous and when she was younger, she enjoyed scuba diving and sky diving. She liked to travel to see family and friends. Karen was outgoing and never knew a stranger.

Karen is survived by sister, Bobbi (Jim) Tredway of Noblesville, IN; brother, Kelly Lomas of Olney; and five nieces and one nephew; and several great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and great nephew, Lucas Heckler.
