- Scott E. Lehmann, 62, of Champaign passed away peacefully at 4:05 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at his home.
Scott Lehmann was born October 30, 1946 in Danville. He was the son of Glenn and Barbara Dunn Lehmann. He married Marilyn Lee Cook. She preceded him in death on May 18, 2005.
Surviving are one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Lehmann of Champaign; one step-son, Mike Shelato of Urbana; one granddaughter, Jillian Alvis-Shelato; one sister, Sonnie Lehmann Highberg of Paris; two nieces, Heather Theide Shake of Indianapolis and Darcy Theide Johnson of Paris.
He graduate form Danville High School and the Illinois State University. He served in the Navy. Scott worked for the Department of Human Services for 25 years. He was the best father a daughter could ask for. He was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He loved to sit outside and grill. We'll never forget all the love and laughter he brought into our lives. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
