  Brad Lee Young, age 47, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born December 1, 1974, in Flora, the son of Everett and Donna (Mitchell) Young. He was united in marriage to Penny Smith on January 5, 2005, in Louisville, and together they have shared 17 wedding anniversaries. Brad had worked at Quad Graphics and HELLA Electronics in the past. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar, working on cars and bikes, and drawing. He was an outstanding father and husband. He is survived by his wife: Penny Young of Flora; children: Tonya Young of Edwardsville, Robert Young of Flora, and Maverick Foreman of Flora; father: Everett (Roberta) Young of Rinard; mother: Donna Young of Flora; 2 brothers: Tim Young of Flora, and Ted Young of Louisville; a sister: Donnita Young of Clay City; a stepbrother: David Casolari of Flora; and a stepsister: Cheri Casolari of Rinard. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Christopher and Everett Jr. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses and will be accepted through the funeral home.
