- SMaxine Leach, 84, of Clay City, died Feb. 17, 2006, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon, IL.
She was born April 9, 1921 in Wayne County, the daughter of Arthur Roscoe and Elma Trotter Trotter. She married Durlyn Rinnert Oct. 14, 1945 in Flora and he preceded her in death in 1958. She later married Merl Leach in 1964 in Flora and he preceded her in death Dec. 1, 2004.
She was a homemaker, a charger member of the Clay City Christian Church, and a founding member of the Clay City Garden Club Unit 7.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Rinnert and Pamela Nosbisch; two granddaughters; one step-grandson; one step-granddaughter; and five step-great-grandchildren,.
Preceding her in death were her parents and both husbands.
Funeral services were held at the Clay City Christian Church with burial in Smith Cemetery near Sailor Springs.
Summers-Kistler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
