      George Hayward Byrne was born on 21 Dec 1876. He died on 27 Jul 1942. He was buried in Dillman Cemetery, Clay County, IL. Was the son of Charles Hanriford Byrne was born on 15 Dec 1845 in Braxton County, West Virginia. He died on 15 Aug 1915 in Sailor Springs, Clay County, Illinois. He married Editha Adeline Lambert on 27 Jul 1865, and Editha Adeline Lambert was born on 15 Feb 1842 in Wabash County, Illinois. She died on 10 Oct 1918 in Hoosier Township, Clay County, Illinois.

      He was the grandson of Charles Hanriford Byrne who was born on 7 Oct 1802 in Fauquier County, Virginia. He died on 3 Oct 1876 in Wilsonburg, Denver Township, Richland Co., Illinois.
