  BARBARA ANN ZIMMERMAN, 77, of Clay City, Illinois, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, at the home of her daughter. Barbara was born November 14, 1942, at Olney, Illinois, to Frank and June (Weidner) Walker. She married Galen Max Zimmerman July 10, 1964, at Flora, Illinois. She was a housewife and a member of Zif Baptist Church. Barbara is survived by her husband Max of Clay City, Illinois; two daughters Amber (Will) Frohning of Flora, Illinois and Lisa Zimmerman of Clay City, Illinois; one son John Zimmerman of Flora; three sisters Nancy (Tom) Denney of Effingham, Illinois, Frances (Jerry) Quick of Neoga, Illinois and Joanne Hilderbrand-Rogers of Flora and one brother Dennis Hilderbrand of Wynoose, Illinois. Four grandchildren Courtney Gray and Shelby Cailteux of Clay City and Kennedy and Khloe Zimmerman of Flora, Illinois; two great grandchildren Carter and Corbin Gray of Clay City Illinois also survive. Preceding Barbara in death were her parents, one brother Jack Walker, and one grandchild Lexi Cailteux. A graveside service will be at 12:00 pm Monday, December 30, 2019, at Dillman Cemetery.at Sailor Springs, Illinois. Everyone attending is asked to go directly to the cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to Clay County Hospice and will be accepted at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.
