  Obituary taken from Olney Daily Mail, Olney, Illinois: Billy Jean 'Houchin' Padgett, 54, 201 N. Ohio street, Olney, died at 1:pm Saturday June 18, 1988 at Richland Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 11 am Thursday at Summers Funeral Home, the Rev. Michael Runyon officiating. Burial in Maple Dale Cemetery. Mrs. Padgett was born on January 20, 1934, in Olney, daughter of Leslie E. and Emma B. Houchin. She was a Homemaker.Mrs. Padgett survived by two sons, Leslie V. Padgett and Harold 'Buddy' Padgett Jr,both of Olney, three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Debra) Drews of Noble, Mrs. Michael ( Penny ) Runyon of Cornelius, Oregon, and Mrs. Michael (Rebecca) Wilson of Olney, four step-brothers, Richard Peters, St. Petersburg, VA, Allen Peters of Maryville, IN, Earl Peters of Valparaiso, IN and Joe Peters, her mother Emma B. Houchin, of Olney, seven grandchildren and one step-grandchild. Mrs. Padgett was preceded in death by her father and step-father.
