- He was a member of the Christian Church of Olney, Richland Lodge No. 180 100F, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1372, and the International Trotting and Pacing Association. He served as Justice of th Peace in Richland County.
Mr. McKinney owned and operated Doyle McKinney Auctioneer and Real Estate Servicves. He first work with Henry James Auctioneer Services in Newton, after
he graduated from Fred Repper's Auctioneer School in Decatur, IN, on August 21, 1948.
He owned and trained Chester Good, who became the world champion miniature trotter in 1966 and held the championship for six years. He then established the Chester Good Stables and continued producing many miniature champion pacers and trotters.
