ADDA AUSBROOK, AGE 75, IS DEAD; FUNERAL MONDAY
East Moline--Mrs. Adda Rose Ausbrook, 75, of 1425 Fifth Avenue, East Moline, a resident of this and adjacent communities for many years, died in her home yesterday afternoon after an illness of eight years.
Mrs. Ausbrook was born in Bible Grove, Ill., Feb. 11, 1870, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs Drury Rose. She was married to William G. Ausbrook in Clay City, Jan. 25, 1893. Prior to moving to East Moline about four years ago she had resided for many years in Moline.
She was a member of Grace Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors lodge.
Surviving are the widower; two sons, R.E. Ausbrook of Maywood and Don H. Ausbrook of LaJunta, Colorado; two daughters, Mrs Lela Mercer of East Moline and Mrs. Helen Soderquist of Akron, O; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Four sisters, Mrs. Ophelia Danhauer of San Diego, Mrs. George Stag (sic: Stang-JEB)of East Moline, Mrs. A.D. Cox of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mrs. G.E. Peterson of Moline, also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Monday afternoon in Grace Methodist church. The Rev. Arthur Miles will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Moline. The body will remain at the Primm funeral home until time for services in the church.
