- Mr. Eastin was born June 23, 1934 in Bible Grove, Illinois to William Hamilton Eastin and Sarah Irene DeBusk Eastin.
He married Lois A. Wheeler on September 29, 1953 in Shawnee Town Illinois. They had met during a ballgame on the third base "Cowpatty" when he was 13 and she was 11.
To this union was born three children. Mr. Eastin spent most of his life working in the oil fields in Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, Arkansas and Texas. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars as well as the American Legion. He is survived by his wife and children, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a sister, a brother, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Eastin was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and five brothers. Mr. Eastin will be remembered to many by his strong persevering spirit. His battle was long and hard but he never wavered until he knew his work here was done.
