• Notes

  On April 11, 1936 she married James Otto Boyd in Henderson, Kentucky. In 1940 she along with her husband built the first Roller Skating Rink in Flora, Illinois called "Boyd's" Roller Rink which stayed open till 1950. In 1947 they built "Boyd's" Roller Rink in Salem, Illinois which is still in operation under different ownership.
