  Charles (Chuck) D. Combs, Jr., 77, formerly of Clay City, died June 8, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Combs was retired from the U. S. Army with over 20 years of devoted service to his nation. His military decorations included the Berlin Army of Occupation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry and the Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Badge.
