Served through the New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago and Southern Philippines Campaigns. Earned The American Campaign Medal, The Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three bronze battle stars, The WWII Victory Medal and The Good Conduct Medal. Honorably discharged from the 162nd Station Hospital and the medical department as a Technician 4th Grade on January 26, 1946 at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.
