  Robert G. McDowell, 69, of Olney, died at 4:38 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind. Visitation will be Tuesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Services will be Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Rick Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. Mr. McDowell was born on February 26, 1939 in Browns, the son of Cloyd and Alta (Bunage) McDowell. He married Wilma (Thomas) McDowell in 1980. She survives. He was a musician. Mr. McDowell is survived by his wife, Wilma McDowell of Olney and his sister, Imogene Kauble of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents. The Olney Daily Mail, January 2009
