    • Helen Virginia Hamilton, age 95, of Flora, Illinois, passed away early morning, April 8, 2019, at Flora Gardens Care Center.

She was born July 3, 1923, in Arkansas, the daughter of Basil C. and Florena E. (Thompson) Cannon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; several brothers and sisters; a son-in-law: Bill Ray; a granddaughter; and 2 great-great-grandsons.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Interment will be in Gunion Cemetery in Wayne County.
