  Herald & Review 8/16/1991 SULLIVAN -Leah Valetta Colclasure Hughes, 89, Sullivan, died Wednesday (Aug. 14, 1991) in Sulli van Living Center. Private family graveside services will be Saturday in Greenhill Cemetery, Mrs. Hughes was born on March 21, 1902 in Iola, daughter of Arthur and Goldie Sutton Colclasure. She was a member of First Church of God, Sullivan. She married George A. Hughes on Oct. 8, 1919 in Shelbyville. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1970. Surviving are her foster son, Donald Colclasure of Clay City; grand daughters,Mrs. Benton (Linda) Armer and Mrs. Romeo (Shirley) Fultz, both of Sullivan;brothers, Jim Colclasure of Iola; John Colclasure of Newton; Orvel Colclasure of Clay City; sisters, Hattie Barrett and Minnie Ramsey, both of Sullivan;Martha Smitley of Paris; eight great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren. Oneson, two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
