  Seaman U.S. Navy, World War II-Mr. Harrison died at Proctor Hospital in Peoria on 5-8-2012. He is the son of Mr. Jesse & Mrs. Velma {King} Harrison of Sailor Springs, Illinois, and the husband of Mrs. Mary {Lyons} Harrison of East Peoria, Illinois, and they were married in Germantown Hills, Illinois on November 23, 1974 and the father of three daughters, Mrs. Kathy {Michael} Clifton of Pekin, Mrs. Connie {Michael} Carroll of Littleton, Colorado, and Mrs. Carla {Jon} Penrod of Washington, Illinois, and one step-son, Larry {Barb} Clauson of Hanna City, Illinois. Mr. Harrison's first wife, Mrs. Doris Jean Harrison, died unexpectedly. He does leave one sister, Mrs. Mary Belle Lyons of Peoria, and one brother, James Harrison of Salem, Ohio. Mr. Harrison had the priviledge to serve God & Country during World War II as an enlisted Seaman with the U.S. Navy, and retire from Caterpillar after 32 years of honest service. He was also a Life Member of the VFW Post 2078 in East Peoria, Illinois. Awards: American Campaign Medal, Pacific Campaign Medal with One Battle Star, World War II Victory Medal, Ruptured Duck Pin.
