    • Harold R. Biehl, 62, of Olney, IL died October 28, 1997 at his home.

      He was born January 5, 1935, in Noble, the son of Raymond and Ina Fulk Biehl. He married Florence Bringhurst March 29, 1974 and she survives.

      Biehl was a warehouse manager for Weider Health Fitness-AMF quality control and a guard and counselor at the Pontiac Correctional Center.

      He was a member and past commander of the Olney VFW Post #4226, a member of Olney American Legion Post #30, a member of the Olney Masonic Lodge #140 and an Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.

      He is survived by his wife; two sons, Steven and adopted son Matt; daughter amela Toliver; three brothers, Harvey, Darold, and Ted Biehl; one sister, Sandra Young; his step-mother, Lorrene Biehl; two step-daughters and eight grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-daughter, Margaret Smith.

      Funeral services were at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home with burial in Hanna Cemetery in Noble with full military rites by the Olney American Legion and Olney VFW.

      Memorials can be made to Southeastern Ill. Hospice of Olney.
