- Linda C. Blank, 76, of Noble, IL, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Linda was born June 9, 1944 to Royal and Emma (Buerster) Weidner.
She married Gerald Blank on January 26, 1974.
Linda was known as a very dedicated and hard worker at every job she's ever done. She worked at the International Shoe Factory in Olney from 1963 until its closing, then she worked at Kralis Bros. Poultry factory, Union Frondenberg/Marwi USA, Champion Labs, and finally Richland Memorial Hospital, where she retired in April 2020.
Linda was a member of Holy Cross Church in Wendelin. She enjoyed gardening and grew some of the most beautiful flowers around. She also delighted in all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to whom she was known as GG. She will be greatly missed by her family and special fur baby, Lola.
Linda is survived by her husband, Gerald of Noble; Daughters, Barbara (Greg) Amerman of Noble, Cheryl (Dallas) Colwell of Noble, and Cindy Blank of Noble; Grandsons Kyle Amerman and Nicholas (Elizabeth) Amerman, Luke and Jack Colwell; Great Granddaughters Emmalee, Amyah, and Allie. She is also survived by her siblings: Richard (Margaret) Weidner of Noble, Jeannie (Harold) Deimel of Newton, Jerome (Lisa) Weidner of Noble, Louella (Terry) Long of Noble, Tony (Judy) Weidner of Mesa, AZ, and Larry Weidner of Vincennes, IN; Sister-in-law, JoAnne (Kenny) Taylor.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Donald and Kenneth and nephew Derek Weidner.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Holy Cross Church in Wendelin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Linda at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Holy Cross Church.
Memorials can be made to Holy Cross Church or donor's choice.
