  • Notes
    • He was educated in the Xenia school and completed his high school at Flora.

Carl was a great lover of home, ever thoughtful of his parents. He worked in St Louis a few years, but often came home to be with his parents and friends. He and his father were constant companions. On March 18, 1929, his father was called hence and from the shock Carl never recovered, but soon began to fall in health and continually grew weaker.

He was a boy with high ideals and principles and was held in high esteem by his many friends, although confined to his bed only a few days, his room was continually filled with his friends to express the love and esteem they held for him. Everything was done that loving hands could do.
