  Larry Junior Martin, age 72 of Olney, passed away at 5:27 AM on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Celebration of Life service will be held at 6 PM Saturday, August 27 in the chapel of Thrasher Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-6 PM. Cremation rites will be accorded. Larry was born August 16, 1944 in Olney, the son of Harry and Ruth Marie (Wilson) Martin. He later married Ana Hernandez on July 16, 2005 in Orlando, Florida. She survives. He worked as an Engineer for many years. He also enjoyed owning and collecting older cars. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Larry is survived by his wife Ana Martin of Olney; mother Ruth Marie Martin; son Logan Martin and wife Lisa of Lowell, Michigan; step-son Nelson Ortiz of Florida; 3 daughters Antoinette Horton of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Leigha Wells of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Janaria Dunahee and husband Jared of Grand Rapids, Michigan; step-daughter Evelyn Ortiz of Florida and; 2 brothers, Norman Martin and wife Cindy of Gracin, Georgia and Allen Martin of Olney; 2 nieces and nephews and 4 great-nieces and nephews, 9 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Harry Martin, step-daughter Sandra Ortiz, son-in-law Bobby Horton, sister-in-law Sandy Martin, and great nephew Tommy Lomas. Memorials can be sent to Kidney Transplant Foundation in memory of Larry Junior Martin.
