  Howard Austin Nicholas,90, died at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney after apparently falling from a fire escape at the Golden Years Nursing Home. He and his wife Anna had been residents of the nursing home for the past few months. The couple celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary last October. Mr. Nicholas and his wife the former Anna Nicholas, were married in Olney in 1891. He was a farmer in the Calhoun community until he retired, working as a painter following retirement from the farming profession.
