  Jimmie David Clevy was born on February 11, 1941 in Richland County, Illinois, the son of Perry and Garnett (Chaplin) Clevy. Jimmie lived life to the fullest and lived in several of the biggest cities in America. After settling in St. Louis we would transit from there to Claremont caring for his parents. He loved to vacation in Mexico and learned the Spanish language. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and had a very genuine personality. In his leisure time he enjoyed gardening and especially loved to grow banana trees. He will be sorely missed by his family. He is survived by his brother, Jack Clevy of Claremont, IL and nieces, Karen Schneller and husband, Fred of Decatur, IL and Brenda Beard and husband, Robert of Claremont as well as several great nieces and nephews.
