Betty F. Ragland, 88, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, in Hurst. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at North Richland Hills Baptist Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Betty Ragland was born July 29, 1922, in Clay City, Ill. She spent her life serving the Lord and caring for others. Betty will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dester R. Ragland. Survivors: Daughters, Linda Austin, Diana Thompson and Desiree Herrington; and five grandchildren.
