Obituary extracted from the Wayne County Press, 1/28/1937:
Hannah Matilda, daughter of Jonathan and Mary Ann Stull, was born in Woods county, Ohio January 23, 1850. Early in life she came to Wayne county. She married William Berry November 29, 1868. They had four children. One died in infancy. William died in August 1873. In 1875 she married Cornelius Powless and they had seven children: one died in infancy; Oscar died at the age of 18; and two daughters, Hannah Garrison and Katie Powless both died at the age of 45; Cornelius died February 28, 1888. In 1900 she she married John Baity. He died in 1908. She leaves three sons, James Berry of Riverside, California, Thomas Powless of Johnsonville and Clarence Powless of St. Louis, and three daughters, Emma Pennington of Johnsonville, Wilma Wallen of Rosemead, California and Julia Hosack [1878-1943] of Los Angeles and one brother, Jonathan Stull, of Cisne.
