      NOBLE -Imogene Thomann, 91, of Noble died Sunday (Aug. 27, 1995) in Flora Care Center.

      Services in Summers-Kistler Funeral Home, Noble, with the Rev. Kenneth Bissey and Brother Glen Fehrenbacher officiating. Burial in North Freedom Cemetery, rural Noble.

      Mrs. Thomann was born in Clay County on Jan. 22, 1904. She was a retired schoolteacher and taught in Clay and Richland counties from 1923 through the 1960s. She was a member of North Freedom Church, Retired Teachers Association, Farm Bureau and Home Extension in Clay County. She wrote a column for the Clay County Republican under the pen name Mirandy. She married Ezra Thomann on Aug. 5, 1925. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 1977.

      Surviving are her son, Danny Thomann and wife Ruthann of Noble; grandchildren, Terri Zuber and husband Dave of Newton; Mary Ruth Drewes and husband Leonard of Louisville; greatgrandchildren, Daniel, Lindsey and Amberlynn.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
