    • BILL L. WALBORN CHARLESTON - Bill L. Walborn, 52, of Charleston died Sunday morning (Feb. 25, 1979) in Mercy Hospital, Urbana. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Wesley United Methodist Church, Charleston. Burial will be in Charleston. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Caudill-King Funeral Home, Charleston. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

      He was born Jan 24, 1927, in Clay County, a son of Leonard and Cecyl Black Walborn. He married Sylvia Gumbel June 12, 1949. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Fred of Colchester, Ill.; two daughters, Nancy Walborn of Chicago and Cheryle Swinford of Charleston; his parents of Lousiville; one sister, Mrs. Jess (Patricia) Bateman of Louisville, and one grandchild.

      Mr. Walborn was a real estate broker in Charleston. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
