- Bob was born in Chicago on August 24th, 1938 to Roy and Maxine Hazel. If your favorite form of communication was the CB then you might have known Bob by his CB handle Robinhood, for he was famous for being able to Robinhood an arrow at even given time.
Bob entered eternal life from his home in Mount Erie, Illinois on Saturday December, 26th 2020. His spirit is carried on by his three children, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Bob spent the early years of his life in Northern Illinois where he worked for Caterpillar in Aurora for several years and then McDonald Douglas, building and wiring jet planes, before coming back to the Northern Wayne County and Wynoose area to help his parents on their family farm. He was also the owner and operator of Covey Ridge Hunting Preserve in Mount Erie Illinois.
