  Ruth Laura CAILTEUX, 85, of Clay City, died at 5:13 p.m., Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind. Mrs. CAILTEUX was born May 10, 1921 in Clay City, the daughter of Raymond "Bob" and Ethel Eileene (RODGERS) ABBOTT. She married William H. CAILTEUX on Sept. 22, 1940 in Noble. He preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1996. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Clay City Church of God. Survivors include one sister, Katie BROWN of Aurora; one brother, William ABBOTT of Elgin; two uncles, Roy RODGERS of Olney, and Harold ABBOTT of Clay City; one aunt, Lorena Dehart of Clay City; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and two brothers, Lloyd and Albert. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City, with Pastor Rob BOWKER and the Rev. John SPEARS officiating. Burial will be in the Clay City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (tonight) at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Clay City Church of God.
