- George B. Morgan, 58, Rt. 1, Dundas, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Gumble officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be in the form of gifts to the American Cancer Society.
Born in Noble Feb. 25, 1926, he was the son of Floyd and Ethel McDade Morgan.
He had been engaged in construction work.
A veteran of the Navy during World War II, he was a member of the Olney American Legion Post No. 30 and Aeirie No. 2549 FOE.
Survivors include three sons, Bernard Lee Morgan and his
wife Karlette of Casey, David Neal Morgan and his wife Ruth of Olney, and Michale Kent Morgan of Salem; a daughter, Mrs. Brad (Debra) Daugherty of West Union; a brother, Louis Morgan of Olney; six sisters, Mrs. Gladys Biedelemann of Noble, Mrs. Maude Straley of Olney, Mrs. Margaret Miller of West Liberty, Mrs. Rose Spillman of Olney, Mrs. Anna Eblin of Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Wilma Cummins of Olney; and six grandchildren, Brent, Amy and Haley Morgan of Casey, Shawn Morgan of Olney, and Brandon and Aaron Daugherty of West Union.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister in infancy.
