- Bertha Anna Knox, age 66, the widow of William Knox and a resident of 333 West Cherry was found dead in her apartment yesterday afternoon. Her death occurred several hours previously.
A native of Pixley township of Clay County, Mrs. Knox was born the daughter of Zachius Kessler and Cecilia Desch Kessler.
She had lived in Kankakee, IL for the past several years and was employed as a hosiery worker.
She returned to Olney to make her home about a week ago.
Her survivors are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Margaret Nix and Leo Kessler, both of Ste. Marie, William Kessler of Evansville, Ind., Joseph Kessler of Quincy, Mich., Frank Kessler, Herman Kessler and Raymond Kessler, all of Ingraham. There are several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Knox will be recited in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney , with the Rev. Fr. George P. Lally the celebrant.
Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery.
The Holy Rosary will be recited in the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home.
