  Paul David, also known to his family and friends as “PD” was born on February 3, 1959, in Olney, Illinois, the son of James Taylor and Ruth Helen (Zerkel) Clinton. He married Sherry Elmore on March 26, 1983, at the First Baptist Church in Newton, Illinois. Paul graduated from Noble High School in 1977. Paul worked at Prairie Farms Dairy in Olney for 13 years. He then worked for over 20 years as an IBEW Journeyman wireman electrician for Lytle Electric of Robinson, Illinois. Paul was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church near Noble, Illinois. He enjoyed traveling with Sherry on his BMW motorcycle, deer hunting, crappie fishing, tinkering in his shop and spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. Paul is survived by: Wife of 38 years - Sherry Clinton of Wheeler, Illinois 2 Children - Abigail and husband Dustin Phillips of Franklin, Kentucky and Taylor Clinton of Evansville, Indiana 2 Grandsons - Rhett Phillips and Beckett Phillips 2 Sisters - Janice Clinton of Olney, Illinois and Brenda and husband Steve Francis of Washington, Illinois Father-in-law - Roscoe Elmore of Wheeler, Illinois Paul was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard Clinton and mother-in-law Edith Elmore.
