  Robert L. Dawkins, 79, of Louisville, died May 19, 2004 at Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL. He was born April 30, 1925, in Clay County, the son of Ray and Lillie Daugherty Dawkins. He married Lois Holstlaw July 13, 1949 in Salem. He was a retired Louisville Postal Clerk and a member of Red Brush Christian Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Stephen; a daughter Diana Stortzum; a sister Betty Frye; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Ross, Loren, and James Dawkins; and a sister, Helen Tolliver. Funeral services were held at Red Brush Christian Church with burial in Red Brush Cemetery. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
