  Donald Heiden, 84, of Flora, IL formerly of Louisville, died December 21, 2004 in Effingham. He was born December 12, 1920 in Clay County, the son of Carl W. and Louise K. Bergman Heiden. He married Irma V. Stacey July 25, 1942. He was an oil field pumper, a member of First Christian Church of Grayville, and a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife; a son, Norman Heiden; two daughters, Connie Lewis and Mary Waller; a brother, Dale Heiden; three sisters, Mabel Traub, Florenc Griffy, and Dorothy Heiden; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, an infant son, two brothers, Howard and Norman, and a sister Bonnie McKinney. Funeral services were held at Neal Funeral Home with burial in Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville. Military rites were given at the funeral home.
