  William (Bill) Joseph Bell, 84, of Oxnard passed away March 2, 2015 following a prolonged illness. He was a 50 year resident of Oxnard moving from Hawaii. Bill was born in St. Francisville, Illinois to William and Velma Bell on September 27, 1930. He was born the first of seven children. He was married to the love of his life Myrtle Frankle Bell for 50 years. Bill served in the United States Navy for 21 years as a flight engineer retiring in 1968. He worked for the city of Oxnard for 21 years as a fleet mechanic retiring in April of 1993. Bill loved loved anything that had to do with planes, cars, boats and fishing. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Myrtle Frankle Bell and two brothers, Lewis Bell and Ron Bell. Bill is survived by his children, Terry I. Bell (Jerri) of Redding, CA, Betty Miller (Dennis) of Ventura, CA, William F. Bell (Lydia Guerna) of Oxnard, CA; siblings, Patti Greenwood, Marion Lee, Sharon Tabor, Robert (Bud) Bell all of Illinois; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
