  Growing up in Mazon, she graduated from Mazon High School with the class of 1965. For many years she ran a daycare out of her home taking care of many area children in the process. Later, she opened the Craft Mall Plus in Mazon which was a small gift and craft shop. She did this with the help of her friend Jane Bilsborough, cousin Curt Leach, and of course her sister Bonnie Petersen. She spent many years crafting and visiting with those who came in. She was an avid crafter of most everything during her life, and also loved TLC network on TV and Facebook. Most of all, she was a special woman who will be missed by many.
