  He was born March 1, 1936, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Jay and Mary Hackney Stanley. He was a retired X-ray technologist of 30 years for Clay County Hospital in Flora, Ill. He was a member of Prairie Grove Christian Church and of the Ozark Chapter of Gold Prospectors. Sur vivors include two sons, Timothy D. Stanley of Fayetteville and Mark Stanley of Rogers; three brothers, Don Stanley and Jerry Stanley, both of Ingraham, Ill., and Larry Stanley of Flora, Ill.; a sister, Maxine Brooks of Flora, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
