- Cubalene Krutsinger, 81, of Flora, IL formerly of Xenia, IL died at 4:07 PM Friday, September 7, 2007 at Flora Gardens Care Center in Flora.
She was born April 10, 1926 in Clay County, IL to U.S. & Daisy (Bowen) Hagen. She married Merle E. Krutsinger on July 30, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2002.
She assisted her husband farming, worked at Four Sisters Garment Factory, was a local Electrolux and Tupperware representative and was a member of Brown Christian Church in Kinmundy. Cubalene loved her church, family and music.
She is survived by a son: Gary E. Krutsinger; a daughter: Judy E. Young; eight grandchildren: Robin Niehaus, Kim Comparetto, Krys Baer, Scott Hockman, Rhonda Hodge, Lora Sloan, Lisa Miller, Wade Young; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister: Mildred Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son (Gale), sisters (Ethel & Inez), brothers (Kermit, Sam, Fleeman, Clifford, Quinton & Junior).
Funeral services were held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
Burial was in Oskaloosa Cemetery in Xenia.
