Notes |
- Modena worked in her younger years with companies supporting the Navy. Later, she was a homemaker and worked many years as a CNA. Modena was a spirited woman who had a deep love for family and all that she called family. Keeping track of her family heritage was a passion and a joy for her. Her love truly shined for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Never missing a birthday, even in the end. Modena was known for her charitable spirit as she would give the shirt off her back if she knew it would help someone in need. She had a very strong faith in God and knew Christ as her personal Savior. When she was young, she attended church, and even for a time sang on the Billy Graham Gospel Hour. Modena enjoyed many things in her long, full life. She was a member of the Eagles, Moose, Elks, VFW, and the American Legion. She collected interesting items especially if they would bring a laugh or smile to someone's face, and you could usually find her watching westerns, telling stories, or interacting with family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all those that loved her, and her absence will leave a hole in the many lives that she touched.
