- Charles "Charlie" Wayne McDowell, of Townsend, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008. He was 29.
He is survived by his daughter, Charlee Anne and his son, Jackson; his father, Larry McDowell and stepmother, Martha; his mother, Lois Eisenbrey and stepfather Bill; two sisters, Stephanie Money and her husband Mike, Joell Meekins; nephew, Keegan Money and nieces Caraline Money and Taylor Heverin; his fiance, Helen Dugan and her son Seth; paternal grandmother, Eleanor McDowell; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Yearsley; maternal grandfather, William Eisenbrey; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Charlie is also survived by his godfather, John Massey and godmother Karen McCabe; and a special family member, Megan Hajek.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Francis McDowell and step grandparents, Winnie Eisenbrey, Charles Yearsley, Bill and Billie Unruh.
A memorial service will be held noon Thursday in the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 North Broad St., Middletown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Middletown.
