  Mary Ellen Workman, 84, passed away at the Corner Stone Hospice House in The Villages, FL. on January 19, 2020. She was a faithful member of the Bible Grove Christian Church. Leaving to mourn her loss is her husband of 65 years; her son, Dana (wife) Debbie Workman; daughter, Kimberly Travis; sister, Jackie Drees; brother, Jerry McKnelly; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mary Ellen was a retired teacher and principal at North Clay Elementary school in Louisville. She retired in 1993 and has spent all winters in Leesburg, Florida. Graveside services will be held at Ingraham Cemetery in May. Thanks to all dear friends in Florida and Illinois. (Published Jan. 29, 2020 in the Hometown Journal.)
