- MARION -- Ron Pulley, age 67, passed away at 2:05 a.m., Sunday, June 9, 2002 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at the Meredith-Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Eddie Null officiating.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
Mr. Pulley was born May 26, 1935 in Marion to Henry and Thelma (Beasley) Pulley. He married Barbara J. Hall May 16, 1981 in Sikeston, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Pulley of Marion; daughter, Debbie Starrick of Herrin; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Stacy Pulley of Ramsey; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Anthony Evans of Clay City; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, H.L. and Judy Pulley of Carterville; sister-in-law, Geneva Mae Trella of Marion; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews and special friends, Delores Darnell and Doris Moffett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother, Walter David Pulley; two nephews, Greg Pulley and John Pulley and brother-in-law, Joseph Trella.
Mr. Pulley was formerly co-owner of Pulley Ambulance in Marion. He worked for McNeill Heating and Cooling. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local #268. Mr. Pulley was of the Protestant faith.
